We hope you like our re-vamped website. It is still a work in progress, and will continue to develop and evolve in response to our school community's needs.

Hinds School is a rurally focused full primary school situated in Hinds, south of Ashburton within one of Mid Canterbury's most dynamic areas of agricultural growth and development – especially in recent years.

Despite our changing landscape Hinds School has remained an important focal point for our community and as such receives tremendous support in a variety of ways – from parent helping in our classrooms or the manning of barbeques on sports days through to the rearing and grazing of calves for fundraising projects.

One of the first items on the school's agenda for 2012 is to re-establish the vision and values which guide the school's curriculum.
